Video 1: Hound Dog

This is a video from a blues jam at Little Lou's BBQ.  Hound Dog has always been one of my favorite songs ever since I was a kid and I sure have a lot of fun covering it.  Although Elvis was my first experience with this song, my favorite version of it comes from the late-great Big Mama Thornton, who is a huge influence on me and what I do.  In this video you can see Jordan Henry accompanying me on Harmonica.

While you often see me playing electric, I also like to playold acoustic blues tunes.  Here is an old Mississippi John Hurt song, that I put my own slight spin on.  Hope you enjoy.
